NZMSA Sports Exchange 2011

Following an epic first event in 2010, the NZMSA Sports Exchange returned in 2011. The event was held in Auckland and kicked off on Friday 22 July with Foosball and the Eating Competition.

Saturday featured rugby, football, netball and ultimate frisbee, followed by The Great Debate in the evening.

The teams played for the Sports Exchange shield – but even more important than that, the winning school will is entitled to bragging rights for one (1) year as the NZMSA Sports Exchange Champion 2011.

Sports Exchange 2010

The inaugural NZMSA Sports Exchange was held in Christchurch over the weekend of 9th and 10th of July 2010.

An estimated 200 medical students from Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin competed in rugby, soccer, netball and ultimate frisbee - as well as foosball, an eating competition and a debate.

Dunedin was crowned the Overall NZMSA Sports Exchange Champion 2010 after a fantastic effort all round, and our proud owners of the brand new shield – that is, until next year when it will be up for grabs again.
