NZMSA is calling for nominations for NZMSA President for 2011! Nominations close midnight July 23rd.

Tuesday, July 6th, 2010

Dear all members,

2010 has been an amazing year for NZMSA with a fabulous conference, a
good amount of progress on our big issues and the upcoming sports
exchange, amongst much else. There comes a time to vote for a new
President each year, and I have to sadly hand over leadership of the
awesome NZMSA team to another lucky person. That time has come
(although I don’t hand over officially until January 1st).

ANNOUNCEMENT: The NZMSA is calling for nominations for NZMSA President
for 2011. Nominations are due by midnight on the 23rd of July 2010.

As per our constitution:
8.2.1 Any member of the Association is eligible to stand for President
8.2.3 Anyone seeking the position of President may nominate themselves
and shall forward a CV and cover letter. The nomination must be
received by the Secretary of the Association at least two weeks prior
to the AGM.

The president is elected by your regional reps (ie by the NZMSA
executive) at the Face to Face meeting prior to the AGM. This year the
elections will take place on August 7th, in Dunedin. You are welcome
to attend the AGM at 4pm if you are able to do so.

For further terms and conditions, please write to
secretary@nzmsa.org.nz or president@nzmsa.org.nz

If you are interested in what the job involves, please feel free to
send me an email (president@nzmsa.org.nz) and I am happy to help.

I look forward to receiving your nominations.

Kinds regards,
Liz Carr
